The purpose of the nursing department is to train nurses who can take on the roles and functions of modern nursing. This includes being able to provide evidence-based care with a holistic approach, and adopt innovative and lifelong learning, and attain proficiency in at least one foreign language, and act in accordance with ethical principles and legal regulations. As such, nurses are also expected to be researchers in their field, think critically, produce solutions to problems and act on a multidisciplinary team approach.
